Find & Replace Options
The Welkin Suite has both the Quick replace and Replace in Files methods.
You can activate the Quick replace method by pressing the Ctrl+H hotkey or select it from the Main Menu:
Edit ⇒ Find and Replace ⇒ Quick replace.
After the search term is entered into the first top text input, all the matches will be highlighted both in the code editor and on the scrollbar.
You can apply all the find options during the replace as you would do during the Find process. The Quick replace allows replacing each matched text, one by one, or all at once.
Replace in Files
The Replace in Files method is extending Quick replace. It can be activated by pressing the Ctrl+Shift+H or selecting it from the Main Menu:
Edit ⇒ Find and Replace ⇒ Replace in Files.
This method allows you to replace all the matches of the search term entered into the Find what text input by the text entered to Replace with text input.
Using the buttons at the bottom of the dialog you can navigate to the next match, Skip entire file, or Replace current or all occurrences of the searched expression. The flag Keep modified files open after Replace All allows you to move quickly to the changes in the files.
