Advanced editing features

In addition to the standard editing options,The Welkin Suite offers you additional editing functions that help you develop faster and more efficient.

All of these features you can find in the Main Menu when you have at least one file opened in the editor: Edit ⇒ Advanced.

Command Action Hotkey
Duplicate Row Above Inserts the same code line as the line above. Ctrl+Alt+Alt
Duplicate Row Below Inserts the same code line as the line below. Ctrl+Alt+B
Tabify Selected Lines Substitutes spaces before the line with tabs.
Untabify Selected Lines Substitutes tabs before the line with spaces.
Make Uppercase Changes all characters in the selection to uppercase. Ctrl+Shift+U
Make Lowercase Changes all characters in the selection to lowercase. Ctrl+U
Move Selected Lines Up Moves the selected code up at one line by a step. Alt+Up Arrow
Move Selected Lines Down Moves the selected code down at one line by a step. Alt+Down Arrow
Delete Horizontal White Space Deletes tabs or spaces at the end of the current line. Ctrl+K, Ctrl+\
View White Space Displays spaces as raised dots, and tabs as arrows. Ctrl+R, Ctrl+W
Word Wrap Wraps all the lines to fit them in the editor window. Ctrl+E, Ctrl+W
Incremental Search Executes search by the increment. Ctrl+I
Comment Selection Adds a comment to the selection or the current line. Ctrl+K, Ctrl+С
Uncomment Selection Removes a comment from the selection or the current line. Ctrl+K, Ctrl+U
Increase Line Indent Adds a tab to the selected lines or the current line.
Decrease Line Indent Removes a tab from the selected lines or the current line.
