The types of versions
A version of changes is the main unit of your work when you explore the Local History. Depending on your actions with a project, file or group of files, the versions may have different types:
- downloading a new project or opening an existing project with Local History enabled creates Initial version,
- the build of a project creates a version Changes built,
- the deploy objects creates a version Changes deployed,
- the pull from the Salesforce org creates a version Pulled changes from the org,
- adding a new item creates a version <Item> created,
- moving a file inside a project creates a version <Item> moved,
- deleting an item creates a version <Item> deleted,
- excluding an item from the project by managing Project metadata components creates a version <Item> excluded from a project.
The <item>
text will be substituted by the name of the file that was affected in the corresponding version if the version includes only 1 file. If the version consists of more than 1 file, you will see the Items
.
